About me!

Hello dear visitor,

My name is Celine Eimann, I am a Swiss-born artist who, after almost five years based in Australia, recently made the move back to the chocolate country.

I studied fine art and visual communications design, and now writing and illustrating children's stories.
I am the author of a children's book called 'Lyli meets the Stone-muncher' and I'm also the illustrator of 'The Sky Dreamer', both published by IP Kidz.

Here, I share a little bit of the big ups, and little downs of being an creative professional...Sometime the creative process feels a litle too much like being in a bubble, so please feel free to have a look around and comment away!

An international book affair...How books get their own personal story.

To please a little girl, sometime some nice uncle would go outside their ways to make it happen: This is the case of my friend Sam. Uncle Sam lives in Australia but wanted to surprise his little niece Alicia, with a dedicated copy of the french version of Lyli.
He ordered it on Amazon from Australia, and had it shipped to my place in Switzerland. I wrote a little message inside, wrapped it, and Sam came to pick it up in person straight from the airport, to then run to his date with his family in France where he would offer the book to his niece so he'd have something special for their reunion after years appart...
Isn't he the loveliest uncle?
I love how my story became many books, and those have now their own personal stories...What a nice feeling!
